Guides and technical information
The guides and technical articles on this site are general information about steel fabrication, written to help you understand the process. They are not structural engineering advice and must not be relied on as a design.
Beam sizes, bearings, connections and any other structural detail must be specified for your specific project by a qualified structural engineer, and structural work requires building regulations approval. We fabricate to the engineer’s design; we do not replace it.
Quotes and contracts
Nothing on this website is an offer to contract. Any quotation we provide is separate from these terms and is subject to its own scope, price and conditions. Prices, capabilities and lead times described on the site are indicative and may change.
Accuracy of the site
We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that it is complete, current or error free. Project photographs are examples of our work and are not a promise of a particular outcome or specification.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — including text, guides, photographs, logos and branding — is owned by us or used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use. You may not republish, sell or systematically copy our content without our written permission.

Where we link to third-party websites, those links are provided for convenience. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not control.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on the general information published on this website. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. Our liability for work we actually carry out is governed by the contract for that work, not by these terms.
Privacy
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed.
