Glass Balustrades
Frameless and framed glass balustrades for staircases, landings, balconies and Juliet balconies — stainless or powder-coated fittings, toughened glass, made and installed to BS 6180.
Glass balustrades open up a space and let light through while still giving a safe, solid barrier. We design, fabricate and install both frameless systems — where toughened glass is held in a discreet base channel or with minimal point fixings — and framed systems with stainless or steel posts and a handrail on top.
They suit staircases, landings, balconies, mezzanine edges, Juliet balconies and terraces, in homes, offices, bars, restaurants and retail. Fittings can be brushed or polished stainless steel, or powder coated to a colour to match the scheme.
Glass is toughened, and laminated where the design or location calls for it, with all barriers designed to meet the loadings and requirements of BS 6180 and the Building Regulations. We survey on site so panels fit first time.
As with all our work, the balustrade is designed, made and installed by one team, so the detailing and finish are right and the fit is clean.
